WHO WE ARE...

The mission of Pima Partnership Academy, a charter middle school, an Advanced-Ed accredited middle school, is to provide a rigorous, differentiated educational program with an extended day component and technology-enhanced instruction solely for at-risk youths with histories of adjudication, academic underperformance, poor school attendance, documented histories of disruptive behavior and at high risk for dropping out of school.  The students will be provided with a curriculum that is aligned to Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards in the core content areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.  Student progress will be supported by a well-staffed, secure and structured environment leading to a successful transition to high school.

In 2002, Pima Partnership High School arrived to the Tucson community to meet the needs of youths who simply did not fit the mold of traditional public schools.  PPHS was designed to give students small class sizes, a safe environment, and a place where everyone could “fit in.”  The founders of PPHS realized they were on to something special, but they needed a starting place for students to begin.  So, in 2008, Pima Partnership Academy arrived!

Pima Partnership Academy, serving grades 6 – 8, offers many fantastic opportunities for students to succeed.  Much like its high school counterpart, PPA has small class sizes,  access to netbooks, iPads, and WiFi on a daily basis, and engaging after school program!  In addition, PPA offers the following to complete its 21st century education:
